Strengthening a Family, Securing a Future
Cristina R. Loreto – CoH Ormoc Center Supervisor
Princess grew up in a low-income family, with her father as a loan collector and her mother running a small water refilling business. Despite their financial struggles, she was determined to continue her education.
With ongoing assistance from the Livelihood Support Program at the Center of HOPE-Ormoc, the family improved their situation and opened a small sari-sari store. This support boosted Princess’s confidence, making her more active in school and the community.
Today, she continues her education, demonstrating how holistic support can lead to lasting positive change.
