Ma. Sheila Britanico | CoH-Baseco Social Worker
Inka (not her real name) experienced sexual abuse by someone she trusted, which deeply impacted her well-being. She received support through a Community-Based Treatment and Recovery Program that offered individual counseling, therapeutic activities, and family counseling. This helped her process her trauma and rebuild her self-esteem.
Over time, Inka improved academically, developed healthy coping skills, and formed meaningful friendships. Now, she sees herself as a resilient young woman with aspirations to work abroad and hopes to become a donor for the organization to support other children in need of healing.
